School Board Vacancy

Starmont Community Patrons,
Because the Board has called an election to extend the district’s Physical Plant and Equipment Levy, the board position formerly held by Jason Gearhart will now be up for election.
Per Iowa law (279.6), school board vacancies are typically filled by appointment until the next regular or special election.
Are you interested in serving on the Starmont School Board? Contact Katie Taylor for details. The deadline to submit paperwork for the March 4 ballot is 1 PM at the district office or 5 PM at the Clayton County Auditor by 5 PM this Friday.
